Cowboy Towers are a low cost, easy to deploy and cost efficient way to extend broadband infrastructure into unserved and underserved areas.
Here are a few key features of the Cowboy Towers:
- Easily transportable with a half-ton pickup or heavy duty ATV/UTV with a trailer hitch
- Goes places where larger mobile trailers cannot go
- Can be moved on a regular utility trailer or custom trailer
- No wheels or axles on the tower base – use one trailer for deploying multiple bases
- No permitting required – structure is movable, under 50′ tall and considered to be temporary, so it doesn’t require a building permit
- No need to trench in power or fiber, dig a hole or pour and wait for concrete to cure.
- No crane or heavy equipment needed to unload – just attach outriggers and raise the base then pull the trailer out from under the base
- Configured to use Rohn 45 tower sections
- Bottom section flips down for easy installation of additional sections
- Can go up 25′ without guy wires
- Equipment and wiring can be attached while the tower is lowered for easier installation
- Large outriggers provide excellent stability, even in areas with high winds
- Highly adjustable outriggers enable level support in very uneven site conditions
- Very small environmental footprint – minimum footprint touching the ground is about 4 square feet
- Integrated mounting facilities for solar panels and industry standard enclosure for batteries
- Can be deployed or taken down in one day by a crew of two people
- Built in the USA by Aulick Manufacturing with heavy duty steel and superb craftsmanship ensuring a long service life
- Perfect for deployment of fixed wireless WISP equipment, mobile 4G or 5G infrastructure, public safety or two-way radios.
